A Home Filled
with History
PRYM, a colonial treasure reborn as
a beloved western restaurant in Bangkok.

From Baan Si Phraya to PRYM Brunch & Bar, Baan Si Phraya, a Thai-Colonial style house located on Sap Road in the Si Phraya-Sam Yan area, was once the residence of Prof. Sanya Dharmasakti, Thailand’s 12th Prime Minister. Built in 1918, the house holds a unique history. During World War II, the area was a bombing target, but the house remarkably survived without any damage.

The house’s architecture is just as captivating as its history, blending Western styles with traditional Thai elements to create a harmonious aesthetic.

Outstanding Architectural Conservation Award 2018
Graciously Granted by H.R.H Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn
Today, Baan Si Phraya has been renovated into a restaurant called PRYM Brunch & Bar, offering modern Western cuisine in a setting rich with historical charm. Guests can enjoy a thoughtfully curated brunch and dinner menu in a warm, welcoming atmosphere, surrounded by lush greenery—an oasis amidst the city’s hustle and bustle.
